MEET CAMILLA
Camilla is the Founder of The Practice and The Practice Apt; she is a Creator, Educator, Nutritionist & Chef. She is a contributor to Food Pharmacy, Soothe Space and Substack author of The Practice (a total WIP!). She lectures and speaks to Wellness from a holistic point of view—integrating the physical, emotional, environmental and spiritual aspects of an individual’s life. Her teachings and talent have earned recognition in media outlets such as Vogue Scandinavia, Moderna Livet, Älskade Östermalm and she has shared her story on various podcasts, including: Food Pharmacy, Holy Crap and Prestationspodden.
Camilla’s diverse life experiences uniquely position her to connect with people from all walks of life and navigate all kinds of Tricky Times. A Gemini, she was born in Venezuela, raised in Peru and Thailand, attended high school in Miami, college in Pennsylvania, and later built a career in advertising within New York City's publishing industry at Condé Nast and Hearst Publications. A true globetrotter with a nomadic spirit, Camilla brings warmth, insight, and a world of perspective to her teachings.
She teaches from the wisdom hard-earned through life’s Tricky Times—surviving breast cancer at 27, losing her mother at 14 and her father at 35, enduring the complexities of IVF/egg freezing, navigating the fragile beginnings of a son who wasn’t expected to survive, and moving through the pain of divorce. Through it all, she’s emerged with resilience, depth, and a room-shaking strength that now guides others forward. She reminds us that we are stronger than we know and that deep transformation is possible!

Like many newbies who stumble upon something life-changing, I couldn’t stop sharing it. I kept saying, “It’s a practice”—again and again. Eventually, the phrase stuck... and so did the name.

The Practice is a 65-minute movement class rooted in Camilla’s extensive experience with The Class, and her Yoga and Kundalini Yoga Teacher Trainings. Guided by powerful playlists and intuitive instruction, the experience helps you connect more deeply with yourself. Through movement and reflection, you’ll build self-awareness, develop the ability to make intentional choices, and begin to shift the patterns in your life that are ready for transformation—supporting your path toward self-actualization. Truly, everything is a practice—how we eat, what we eat, how we speak to one another, how we hold space for our partners, our friends, our children, and even for the people we struggle to like. Many of us weren’t taught how to do these things growing up. So, we apply new skills and practice them!
We want healthier, more stable, grounded, and joyful lives. And for some of us, that means changing a few—or more than a few—things. This means practicing new habits for our Emotional, Mental, Physical and Spiritual states.
