Join me this September to ReSet, after a Summer of oysters, French Fries and Rosé! I believe in having my cake and eating it too — but I also know when it is time to reclaim my body, mind & spirit. This program is a very personal program as I need a ReSet and i’m offering you the opportunity to join alongside me, which means that we will get personal, we will get real and we will have a ton of fun!

Monday Evening Kick-off Calls 8 P.M. - 9 P.M. (zoom)
These calls are basically are information sessions, where I go over ‘nutrition’ concepts to arm you with information, facts and tips! The more you know, the better your choices become. These kick-off calls sets your week up for successThursday Lunch Motivation Calls 12 P.M. - 1 P.M. (zoom)
These calls are optional check-in calls to connect, share our experience and get feedback; we learn from each other and keep each other accountable…especially as we head into the weekend.

THE WHY?:
We have our greatest relationship to ourselves, and sometimes we forget to take better care of ourselves. We end up feeling low, depressed, restless, lethargic and unmotivated. So often in today’s culture we turn to antidepressants or other unhealthy means to cope with what we are feeling and what we don’t want to feel. Sometimes we get carried away with the enjoyment and ‘to hell with it,’ thinking, that we forget that what actually nourishes us, gives us energy and offers us clarity are things like: the food we are eating, the movement of our bodies’ and the company we keep.
THIS program is for you to ReSet for a month and take stock of how you are feeling and what you need.
It is a safe, non-judgmental + un-punishing container that will hold all of us —myself included!— as we move through this experience together. This is not a DIET, or about counting calories, or about deprivation (I do not do deprivation!). It IS ABOUT:
Information for your body
The pleasure of fabulous food
Creating a space for you to re-connect with yourself
Re-working the workings of the Mind to support you
Setting you up for a Fall with less colds, flus, and other immune issues
Feeling FUC*ing Fabulous - Energized, Vital, Sexy, Vibrant!
While I may sit on a lot of ‘nutrition’ knowledge and am a teacher by service, doesn’t mean that I can do it alone. I need to keep community around me to keep me accountable and optimistic, to get support and to offer my gifts. Just as I expect you to share you gifts, your light, your struggles and your thoughts with all of us as a participant in this ReSet program.
THE NITTY-GRITTY DETAILS:
What we Eat:
Animal-based protein: Fish, Chicken, Meat: Yup! I’m not Vegan or Solely Vegetarian. We will chat about sourcing ethical, wild-caught, pasture-raised and grass-fed options, as well as learn about Ancient Nourishing Traditions on why protein is a necessary building block for optimal health. Note: Many recipes will be vegan and vegetarian so if you are solely plant-based, this program will meet your needs.
Nutrient-dense + Antioxidant rich Veggies + Fruit: we will discuss the benefits of Organic, pesticide free and local options over conventional. September is Falls Bounty, which is why I’ve chosen to create this program NOW. We have SO MANY fabulous options to give us crazy-good ingredients. Yum!
Milk Alternatives: we will learn how to make homemade nut milks, and utilize other milk-based products such as goat yogurt and coconut milk, giving you more options to choose from. We will also discuss why Oatmilk is not your best option. Sorry Oatly fans!
Nuts + Seeds: We will learn all about creating fabulous recipes using these little marvels. We will learn about how Nuts + Seeds can be soaked to make them more bio-available, how to make incredible sauces, dips, crisps and desserts with them, and how they help us stay satiated (that means TUMMY FILLED!)
Fats: the GOOD kind! We need fat for our brain to function, and I’ll give you all the history of the “Fat fads” so you can discern the difference between a good fat and a bad fat, and know why we need fat to operate properly.
What we Skip:
Alcohol: dehydrating and mood altering; for this one month we will choose to empower ourselves with clarity. We will touch on Nootropics and their mood-enhancing effects as potential substitutes.
Sugar: sweet but a rollercoaster ride! I’ll give you the Highs + Lows on ‘blood glucose’ and how it relates to metabolic syndrome, chronic diseases and psychiatric conditions (it’s mind-bending TRUTH BOMBS coming your way). We will learn about other natural options such as maple syrup, honey and dates as alternatives.
Grains + Legumes: Although I am a fan of these foods, there are reasons to skip them! We will move into weeks 3 + 4 without them (that means you can keep them week 1 + 2 as we ease into our ReSet, but have the option of Upping your game for weeks 3 + 4, to experience for yourself if they work for you or not).
